The Muscle in Question is a full-length play in one act about how the concept of the human brain has an effect on a society's day to day well being, experience, and existence. The play follows a neurologist named Peter and his daughter Violet as they grieve the loss of Violet's mother and make discoveries about the brain as both a literal and figurative answer to some of life's questions.

The Muscle in Question has been in development since 2014, and the creative team is thrilled to bring this powerful new play into its next phase - a full-scale production at the New York City Fringe Festival under the direction of Mariana Benjamin.

Featuring: Danielle Boivin (Violet), Denny Desmarais (Peter), Nicholas Ong (Simon), Alexandra Taylor (Laurie)

Creative Team: Carolina Gerlach (Executive Producer), Andy Lieberman (General Manager), Mariana Benjamin (Director), Samantha Stone (Playwright), Megan Cowher (Production Manager), and Bonnie McHeffey (Stage Manager).

Professionally, Andy has worked with Roundabout Theatre Company, Barrington Stage Company, and The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.
