THE GIRL WITH THE RED HAIR to Return to the Stage

After a run at Alchemical, downtown, Anthony M. Laura's daring exploration into mental illness and how the cure might be as deadly as the sickness, THE GIRL WITH THE RED HAIR is now workshopping additional scenes for a run later this year. Workshops include Mr. Laura, working with resident artists, Casey Hartnett as Hayley Jones; Vivien Cardone as Doctor Watkins; Samantha Yestrebsky as Cortney Dawson and Azura; Alexander Commito as Coury Lewis; and Alexandra Rooney as Young Hayley Jones. Dixie Carroll joins the workshop with composer Philip Lauto reworking music and the previous "Bette Midler" character. Sofia Licata returns as production stage manager. The production will be supervised by Face-To-Face Films theatricals division.

Anthony M. Laura is an independent filmmaker and playwright known for writing, producing and directing his own work. He has been an avid film buff since a very young age and has always been fascinated with stories involving women. Anthony started Face to Face Films in order to focus in on smaller films about real people. It's his hope as a filmmaker to take stories about people that are not regularly understood and give them a voice.
