Acclaimed actress Stephanie Satie brings her powerful one-woman show, SILENT WITNESSES, to New York after triumphant runs in Los Angeles.

In one evening Stephanie portrays a group of "phantom siblings" ... child survivors of the atrocity called the Holocaust.

Reenacting details compiled from personal interviews and conversations with individuals who survived the camps and other carnage, Ms. Satie paints an uplifting portrait of human resilience shaped through the memories of children now infused with

the wisdom of the adults they've become. The 13th Street Repertory, in its continuing resurgence of art excellence, is proud to host a limited run of this acclaimed work of art.

Performing March 17, 18, 23, 24, 30, 31 @ 7:30 p.m.
with Sunday matinees @ 3:00 p.m. on March 20, 27 & April 3
and a special Saturday night showing on March 26@ 7:30 p.m.

Stephanie has appeared on and off-Broadway, in national tours and regional theaters, in plays ranging from Shakespeare to Neil Simon, not to mention Shaw to Ionesco. She also performed and studied in Moscow. Her first solo play, Duse, Heartburn & Me, directed by Jennie Ventriss, was developed at the Ensemble Studio Theatre in N.Y. and toured under the auspices of The American Theater Wing. Theater credits include the west coast premiere of Alan Brody's play, Invention for Fathers and Sons, for which she won a Dramalogue award, Last of the Red Hot Lovers, directed by Marcia Rodd, Two for the Seesaw, Suggs, and Shakespeare in a Nutshell, directed by Armin Shimmermin, all at the award-winning Theatre 40; and the role of Donna in the long running Steven Berkoff hit, Kvetch, at the Odyssey Theatre. On TV, she recurred in The Wonder Years as Ida Pfeiffer (Paul's mom) and on The Practice, Beverly Hills 90210, General Hospital, All My Children, and many television dramas.
