ENTANGLEMENT tells the story of woman and a man who "meet" on Facebook in this contemporary take on online relationships. These two people, although they live on opposite sides of the world, discover they are separated and linked by their relationships with fathers, lovers and lies. The entire play is read from laptops.

This two-hander stars Keira Keeley* ("Angels in America" at Signature Theatre) and Jonathan C. Kaplan* (Tony-nominated for "Falsettos) in a one-night-only FREE staged reading, with production elements, on Thursday, August 9, at 5 p.m.

The reading is part of the curated reading series of this year's Broadway Bound Theatre Festival (from August 4 to 24), which The New York Times has selected as one of the top 15 festivals to see in New York. ALL Festival plays will be mounted at The Theatre at The 14th Street Y in the East Village.

Dramaturg, director and producer Cate Cammarata ("The Assignment," Off-Broadway) directs playwright Barbara Kelly's new two-act play, which had begun development at Stony Brook University under the tutelage of Emily Mann and Annie Baker.

Ms. Kelly, whose play "Deconstructing Dina" was a semi-finalist for this year's Eugene O'Neill National Playwrights Conference, says that she wanted to use the playground of social media to explore themes of isolation and loneliness, deception and pain, and hunger and loss. As her characters, Evangeline and Kyle, come to realize, these sites can "be a cesspool for great lies and great truths." And sometimes one is payment for the other.
