Closing out its 91st season, the St. Bart's Players, Manhattan's longest-running community theater, will present Godspell, opening November 8th at St. Bartholomew's Church (325 Park Avenue.).
Directed by Michael Blatt (25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, The Sound of Music) with Musical Direction by Henco Espag (The Lesbian and Gay Big Apple Corps), performances will run November 8th-17th.
The cast is comprised of Tom Schrank as Jesus, Bosa Mora as John the Baptist/Judas, Rachel Acevedo,
Sarah Butler, Erika Ji, Alex Mogil, Natalie Pernick, Michael Trainer, Ben Watts and Elisabeth Zimmerman.
The show is produced by Merrill Vaughn and Michael D. DeShields.
Godspell is adapted from the Gospel of Matthew and features a parade of beloved songs, led by the international hit, "Day by Day."
