Centered around a family struggling to reconnect despite prolonged estrangement and set in a world of clinical diagnosis, Dauterman's new play questions the separation between dreams and reality and explores the complexities of kinship, gratitude and forgiveness.
Tickets include a premier staged reading of this new play, wine and hors d'oeuvres, and Q&A with the playwright and creative team. All proceeds go towards supporting our upcoming sixth season, pairing a new translation of Pedro Calderón de la Barca's La vida es sueño by Shawn Morgenlander and a world premiere play by SWP Writer-in-Residence Iris Dauterman.

Spicy Witch Productions explores gender and identity through the pairing of classical and contemporary plays in repertory. Dedicated to creating roles for women on and offstage, SWP aims to help close the gender gap in theater and to use the conversation between classical and contemporary text to initiate a dialogue and be a catalyst for social change.
