The sold out ANT Fest show, The Other Side of Paradise, announces additional performances in NYC's speakeasies and jazz clubs.
Tickets to the June 20th world premiere performance at Ars Nova sold out within days of the launch. The one act operetta will play The Green Room 42 at the YOTEL on July 14th and July 18th at 8:00pm. Doors open at 6:30pm. Tickets $15.00.
The Other Side of Paradise is a wild concert telling of the relationship between Zelda and F. Scott Fitzgerald. Part concert, part theater, part 1920s underground apartment party. The night spans 40 years of history in one blazing 75-minute set.
Breakout writer Angela Sclafani stars as Zelda. She plays opposite Jesse Weil as F. Scott, under the direction of Hunter Bird. The onstage 5-piece jazz band appear as historic literary figures such as Ernest Hemingway, and features such musicians as Katini Yamaoka, Wayne Tucker, Melanie Hsu, Elena Bonomo, and Dan Garmon (music director). Casting completed by Kate Lumpkin.
Sclafani's first musical, The Other Side of Paradise was inspired by the women behind great men. More than just wife, mother, or muse, Sclafani's work shows these women as artist, thinker, and philanthropist. Her other pop compositions can be found on her debut EP Blosom.

Angela Sclafani is an NYC based actor, singer, and songwriter. She recently released her debut EP Blossom which is available to buy and stream on iTunes, Spotify, and Soundcloud. Angela has performed with artists such as Todd Almond, Courtney Love, Shaina Taub, Heidi Rodewald, Teen Commandments, & Years and Years in venues that include The Beacon Theater, The Theater at MSG, Joe's Pub, and Webster Hall. She earned her BFA in Drama at NYU Tisch School of the Arts.
