As one of Shakespeare’s most popularly performed plays, this beloved tale is the perfect fit for Snorks and Piñs Productions and New York Restoration Project’s community engagement program: Arts in the Gardens! Together, these two companies are transforming local community gardens into a stage. Guests are encouraged to bring a blanket and a picnic, and settle into these urban oases to enjoy Shakespeare’s finest poetry, bawdiest jokes, most thrilling fights and most poignant tragedy.
From June 16th to June 30th, New York Restoration Project will be hosting Snorks and Piñs in their community gardens in the South Bronx, East Harlem and Bedford-Stuyvesant, to raise community awareness of these wonderful spaces and to welcome all neighbors to their gardens.‘Romeo and Juliet' by William Shakespeare, produced by Snorks and Piñs Productions, LLC opens on June 16th and closes on June 30th.
