Making its world premiere is Nosce Te Ipsum, a new play by Joshua R. Pangborn, produced by Sidekick Productions for the 2014 Midwinter Madness Festival.
Opening February 26th, 2014 at 7:00 P.M. at Stage ii at the
Roy Arias Studios on 43rd Street, Nosce Te Ipsum explores the darkly humorous struggle to continue living despite knowing Death is coming for you. Additional performances are on February 27th at 8:30 and March 2 at 4:00.
Told by a witch of his impending fate, Victor will do anything to stop Death from coming, including finding someone else to take his place. Join him for this comedy-turn-horror tale where the act of saving oneself doesn't always mean living. Dane MK is the doomed Victor, and Stuart Kiczek, recently seen in Troma Film's newest release, Return To Nuke 'Em High, plays Ivan, Victor's doppleganger. Joining them are Ellen Orlando, Cory Lawson,
Peter Sullivan, and Kat Murphy as the witch, Tania, who revealed Death's plan to Victor and set events into motion.
