On March 10th at 1pm, the Music Hall at the Dramatists Guild Foundation will serve as host for "Talking It Out" - a special fundraising event presented by award-winning playwright and producer Anthony J. Piccione - featuring a series of short plays, all revolving around the theme of mental illness, being presented in a minimalistic, staged reading format, in the hopes of raising awareness for the issue of mental health awareness.

Tickets cost $20 and can be purchased by visiting talkingitout.brownpapertickets.com.

Featuring the acting talents of Nick Capriotti, Nathan Cusson, Gemia Foo, Andres Gallardo Bustillo, Louise Heller, Travis Martin, Holly Payne-Strange, and Emma Romeo.

Plays featured:

Alice, Pursued By a Bear by Claudia I. Haas

Bipolar (A WORKPLACE COMEDY) by Edward Precht

No One Returns by Keith Eckert

Veronica's Dolls by Dwayne Yancey

Honor by Ed Vela

The Orchid by Emily Hageman

Hit Men by Michael Tooher

Puddles and Ash by Danielle Vinitski Mooney

Proceeds will go toward supporting the upcoming Off-Broadway production of A Therapy Session with Myself at the Kraine Theater, which recently enjoyed a successful premiere at the 2019 NYWinterfest this past January. The play, written by Anthony J. Piccione, also looks at mental illness.
