The Secret Theatre presents KIT & DABNEY, November 5th & 6th at 8pm, as the second show in its New Voices Project series. KIT & DABNEY is a new piece that takes the complications of enmeshment and predestination as its central idea. For tickets or more information, visit www.secrettheatre.com.
Set in a dingy seaside motel room in the middle of winter, KIT & DABNEY follows its three young subjects as they are forced to grapple with their notions of obligation, goodness, and what it means to be in control of one’s own life. KIT & DABNEY is written by Katrina Pallop and features Brian Edelman as Dabney, Allison Parks as Kit, Courtney Cholovich as Ginny, and is directed by Michelle Karst.
Following the overwhelming success of the original musical KINGDOM COME, KIT & DABNEY is the second show in a new series presented by The Secret Theatre called The New Voices Project. The New Voices Project promotes new works that have not previously been produced to give writers and the public a chance to hear and see their work. Shows vary from staged readings to fully mounted productions. For more information or to submit your work, contact The Secret Theatre at newvoicesproject@secrettheatre.com.
Performances of KIT & DABNEY are tonight, November 5th and tomorrow, November 6th @ 8pm at The Little Secret Theatre, located at 4402 23rd St. (at 23 St. and 44th Avenue), Queens, NY. At Court Square on the E, M, G and 7 train. Tickets are $10. To purchase tickets, visit www.secrettheatre.com.
