SECOND SKIN World Premiere Begins 10/24 at American Theatre of Actors

Producers Amy Gijsbers van Wijk and Vera Khodasevich have announced the world premiere of van Wijk's play. The official opening is set for October 24th. The closing date will be November 2nd.

Clarissa is in a car accident. Her husband, Marc, is the only surgeon available to perform reconstruction. When she wakes up, she is covered in bandages. "Am I unlike myself?" she asks... Second Skin is a story about the search for identity: our own, and others, when nothing seems recognizable. Who are you when you aren't who you were?

Second Skin is directed by Courtney Ulrich.

Featuring: Kerry Ipema (Clarissa), Jaqui Lynch (Darcie), Fernando Ramos (George), Olivia Stoker (Megan, and others), and Mike Turner (Marc).

Scenic design by Pei-Wen Huang.

Costume design by Johanna Pan.

Lighting design by Christopher J. Cancel-Pomales.

Sound design by Edrick Subervi.

Production stage manager is Arthur Kriklivy.

Performances will take place at the Sargent theater at American Theatre of Actors (314 west 54th St. between 8th and 9th avenues). Second Skin will be playing Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday at 8PM, Saturday at 3PM and 8PM, and Sunday at 5PM (October 24th - November 7th).

Tickets are $16 for general admission, $10 for students
