Broadway's Blair Baker (Oleanna, The Footage at The Flea), Andrew Davies (Candide at the Gallery Players) and Kyle Metzger (Band Geeks! at Goodspeed, Candide at the Gallery Players) will star in the premiere of Zac Kline's new dark comedy MESSED UP HERE TONIGHT, which will have its limited run in an Upper East Side apartment this March running from March 3rd-13th. Following three best friends living in Manhattan's Upper East Side, this unique and intimate site specific production will be directed by Emilie Soffe and is being presented by Renovations Theatre Company.
Taking place over a long winter weekend, MESSED UP HERE TONIGHT is a dramatic and entertaining study of the relationships between twenty-somethings Ellie (Baker), Will (Davies) and James (Metzger) as they attempt to put complicated pasts behind them and move forward with their lives. When an emotionally unstable James shows up unannounced one night, he interrupts Will and Ellie's weekend plans and as truths and tensions unfold, these troubled three friends must learn to deal with parental expectations, depression, and a varied assortment of personal issues, past and present.
