Playful Substance is putting its mark on Halloween. After the success of October 2016's Frank, a play by Grant Harris, we have decided to make October the kick off to our season of new works. Each October we will feature a new work that probes the darker corners of the human mind. In 2018, we will present the premiere of Grant Harris' new play, I Can Kiss Like Ted Bundy, which will have a 6 show run at The Kraine (85 E 4th Street, East Village, New York) October 11- 13 and October 18- 20. 8:00 PM shows.

When a woman names her son, she gives him her dreams for his future. Ted's mom named him after a handsome devil that stole her heart. What is in a name? That which we call a Ted Bundy by any other name would murder as sweet. I Can Kiss Like Ted Bundy takes a stab at understanding what it means to come into your own.

I Can Kiss Like Ted Bundy is written by Grant Harris, directed by Bree O'Connor with Fight Direction by Dan Renkin and features Jon Steiger*, Kim Rios Lin*, Scott Raymond Janneke and Nikita P. Nixon II. (*Denotes actors appearing courtesy of Actors Equity Association). Performances are October 11 - 13 and October 18 - 20 at 7:00 PM at The Kraine Theater, 85 E 4th Street, New York, NY 10003. Tickets are $20 and can be purchased in advance by visiting playfulsubstance.com. I Can Kiss Like Ted Bundy is a co-production of Playful Substance and FRIGID New York @ Horse Trade. Playful Substance is a proud resident theater company at FRIGID New York @ Horse Trade.
