Jim Tierney is pleased to present Carry On, directed by Diánna Martin, as part of the 3rd Annual Planet Connections Theatre Festivity. The Festivity will take place June 1st through the 26th at Gene Frankel Theatre (24 Bond Street), and The Robert Moss Theater at 440 Studios (440 Lafayette Street) in New York City.
WHAT: Colliding on the infamous night of a former Beatle's death, a lonely NYPD officer and a trauma nurse find themselves stranded together. Though an unlikely and bickering pair, they find a glimpse of hope in one another, amidst a night of tragedy.
WHO: JIM TIERNEY- A former Marine Corps reservist and actor, Jim Tierney has spent the last eight years writing, with plays produced in both New York and Los Angeles. Past written and produced one-acts include "Dirt", "Carry On", "Loose", "Shitbird" and "Lynching St. Thomas." His play, "Monkey", was the winner of the 2009 Shotgun Theater Festival and had two subsequent runs Off-Off Broadway. In August of 2010, Tierney's "Banshee of Bainbridge" debuted at the NY International Fringe Festival. Most recently, he completed his fourth full-length play, "Mush", which will premiere at the NY International Fringe Festival in August of 2011.

Louise Flory- Originally from the Midwest, Louise spent a year in the UK getting her Masters in Theatre before settling in New York. She has been seen on stage in Blue Surge (The Wild Project), Look After You (SoHo Playhouse), The Oath (The ArcLight Theatre), Burial at Thebes (La Mama E.T.C.) and Dorothy Fortenberry's Burned Over. Film projects include the current award-winning festival short Elli and the Astronaut and the upcoming independent feature Fields of November. She can also be seen online in the complete first season of Issues: The Series. Louise is a member of the Dramatists Guild of America, Maieutic Theatre Works and NYWIFT.
IVAN GORIS grew up in the Lower East Side of Manhattan. He started acting in 1998, while working in a coffee shop in Gramercy Park. Ivan didn't know what he wanted to do, but acting was not on his list. Not until he met a guy by the name of David Copeland, who was directing his first play "The People vs. Corey Chapman". David Copeland asked Ivan to become part of the cast and that is when Ivan's acting career started. Ivan then became part of The 42nd Street Workshop Theater Co. (Renamed The Workshop Theatre Co.). Ivan has studied at the T. Schreiber Studios, The Lee Strasberg Acting School and finally with The Alan Gordon Studios. Ivan has performed at the Player's Theater, The Producer's Club and at the acclaimed Actors Studio.
