Plan-B Theatre's ERIC(A) to Play NYC's United Solo Festival, Nov 2013

Following a sold-out Salt Lake City run, Plan-B Theatre Company announces ERIC(A) by Matthew Ivan Bennett will be featured in the 4th annual United Solo Theatre Festival on Theatre Row in New York, November 2013. Tickets $18. On sale August 22 at unitedsolo.org.

Then, as previously announced, ERIC(A) will open the 2014 Season at Theatre Out in Santa Ana, Calif., January 3-5, 2014. Tickets $20; on sale October 1 at theatreout.com.

Eric used to be Erica...and this is the story of when he fell for a woman for the first time.

Playwright Matthew Ivan Bennett has been Plan-B's resident playwright since 2007, where seven of his plays have received their world premieres.

Actress Teresa Sanderson began working with Plan-B in 1993. She has created roles in six Plan-B productions by Matthew Ivan Bennett. ERIC(A) is her first solo play.

Director Jerry Rapier has led Plan-B Theatre Company since 2000.

Theatre Out is Orange County's LGBT theatre company.

United Solo Theatre Festival is the world's largest solo theatre festival.

Plan-B Theatre has previously presented work in Germany, Canada, New York and San Francisco.
