Writer/Director Eric Bland, creator of The Children of Truffaut and Death at Film Forum (soon to be published in the NYTE anthology, Plays and Playwrights 2009), returns to The Brick with his latest opus. The Protestants uses the framework of a Methodist church service to chart a tragicomic year in the life of four weird brothers: one is a puppet, one wears a mask, one is a girl, and one grew a moustache.
