Ibsen's "A Doll's House" continues its August run at St. John's Lutheran Church on Christopher St. in the West Village. The play opened Thursday night, August 8th, to an enthusiastic full house. Directed by Evan Dominguez, this version is a modern take on the timeless classic, where the audience shares a front row seat inside this crumbling home.
The entire troupe are current and recent graduates of The Neighborhood Playhouse. Staged by the newly-formed Sanctuary Theater Company, performances continue August 15 - 18 at 8pm. Tickets are $15 and may be purchased through adollshouse.brownpapertickets.com or at the door.
