As part of HOWL! ARTS PROJECT 2011, Mimi Stern-Wolfe's Downtown Music Productions and HOWL! Arts Project present Harold Rome's topical revue "Pins and Needles" for two performances only -- on Friday, October 14 and Saturday, October 15 at 8:00pm -- at Theater 80 (80 St. Marks
Place) in Manhattan. Eleanor Reissa directs, with musical direction by Mimi Stern-Wolfe.
As history repeats itself, so do revivals of historically relevant theatrical attractions. With its critically acclaimed score and lyrics, "Pins and Needles" was and is a unique call for social justice
and fair equity. The large repertory of songs includes "Sitting on Your Status Quo," "Sing Me a Song of Social Significance," "Chain Store Daisy," and "Four Little Angels of Peace."
The cast of "Pins and Needles" includes April Armstrong, Charles Baran, Darcy Dunn, Paul Malamphy, Michael Schilke, Mark Singer, and Laura Wolfe.
Tickets to "Pins and Needles" are $20 and available online at www.brownpapertickets.com. For more information, visit www.howlfestival.com
