Different Translation and The Theater at the 14th Street Y, are pleased to share with Broadway World a first look at The Baby Monitor by David Stallings, directed by Antonio Miniño. The Baby Monitor is currently playing through Sunday, December 16th, 2018 at The Theater at the 14th Street Y (344 East 14th Street at 1st Avenue, New York, NY 10003).

When Claire's concerns over the welfare of her two-year-old cousin are dangerously validated, she begins to question the family's principles and ability to parent. A crucial new play exploring same-sex parenting and cis family values in today's America.

With Leo Goodman, Mel House*, Amanda Jones*, Hector Matias, Greta Quispe*, and David Stallings.

Featuring lighting design by Kia Rogers, and sound design by Jacob Subotnick. The production stage manager is Rachel Denise April, and Ty Autry is the assistant director. The associate producer is Ann Marie Yali.

Tickets are $25.00 (Students/Seniors: $22.00) and are currently available to purchase by calling 646-395-4310 or by visiting www.differenttranslation.com.Tickets may also be purchased 30 minutes before showtime at the box office.

Neighborhood Rush: $5.00 tickets will be available 15 minutes before showtime at the box office to residents of zip codes 10003 and 10009 with valid local ID (Neighbor Rush tickets are cash-only and subject to availability).

Running Time: 100 Minutes with no intermission.

This show contains partial nudity.

A finalist for the 2014 National New Play Network, The Baby Monitor was developed in Hollywood at The Blank Theatre's Living Room Series; in New York at Planet Connections Theatre Festivity's Playwrights for A Cause, The Duo Multicultural Arts Center's Pride Week Festival, and Original Binding Productions' Naked Theater Festival.
