Director/producer Jacqueline Wade has recreated the legendary 13th Street Repertory Theater's signature piece, LINE, the longest-running play in Manhattan and the longest-running Off-Off-Broadway show ... ever ... with a 21st Century twist. BroadwayWorld has a first look at the cast in action below!

A diverse multi-racial and generational cast gives new meaning to Israel Horovitz's ageless parable.
Ms. Wade is also hosting workshops and talk-backs on the issues brought up in Mr. Horovitz's absurdist masterpiece. Her own contriversal play, BLACK PANTHER WOMEN, opens at 13th Street mid-April.

In honor of this new regeneration of the play -- and Edith O'Hara, 13th Street Repertory's Artistic Director Emeritus, turning 99 -- LINE has created an "on-LINE" campaign inviting back any and all actors who've appeared in LINE at 13th Street to share in the festivities. A special section of the 13th Street website includes short videos of the artist's memories of the play which will be shown "on-LINE."

LINE runs now through April playing Mondays at 7:30 p.m., and will move to Mondays at 9:30 p.m. starting in May.
