Titan Theatre Company has started rehearsals for the first production of its 2015-16 season, the comedic masterpiece THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING EARNEST by Oscar Wilde. Performances will begin tonight, October 23rd at the Queens Theatre. BroadwayWorld has a sneak peek at the cast in rehearsal below!

"I am floored by the cast we have been able to assemble." said Director, Broadway Veteran, and Titan ResidentActing Company member Terry Layman. Titan has made a name for itself with its unconventional stagings of classical plays. But now Titan tackles the conventional. It's been a joyful and hilarious ride so far."

The powerhouse cast features Joseph Jefferson Award Winner Angela Iannone as Lady Bracknell, Ellen Adair (TV: The Slap, Nurse Jackie, Veep) as Gwendolyn Fairfax, Marc LeVasseur (Red Bull Theatre, Pearl Theatre, Flea Theatre) as Jack Worthing, John-Patrick Driscoll (TV: The Following, The Blacklist, Hostages) as Dr. Chausible, withTitan Artistic Director Lenny Banovez making a return to the Titan stage as Algernon Moncrieff. The cast is rounded out with Titan Alums Maggie Wetzel as Cecily Cardew, Greg Oliver Bodine as Lane/Merriman, and Titan newcomer Christy Richardson as Miss Prism.

The creative team includes Sandy Yaklin (Scenic Design), Natalie Loveland (Costume Design), Katy Atwell (Lighting Design), Eric Frankiln (Sound Design), Nicholas Sotack (Choreographer), Ashley Zednick (Production Stage Manager) and is produced by Titan Managing Director Kevin Beebee.

Titan Theatre Company is located in Queens Theatre in the Park, which is nestled on the grounds of the historic World's Fair, located at 14 United Nations Ave S in Queens, New York.
