A grounded, witty psychodrama about addiction, More is in the midst of a successful run at The Secret Theatre, as part of its UNFringed Festival. BroadwayWorld has a first look at the stars onstage below!
Laura Wells (Sarah Elizabeth Grace), an actress and recovering alcoholic, has been living responsibly with her stable college sweetheart Gabe (Heinley Gaspard). Doubting her worth and craving excitement, she embarks on an affair with her free-thinking co-star, Myles (William Phelps). The story explores how addictions manifest themselves outside of drugs and alcohol, but it is not a morality play.
More is directed by Lacy Reily, written by Sarah Elizabeth Grace. It runs 85 minutes with no intermission at The Secret Theatre (44-02 23rd Street, Long Island City, NY) as part of the UNFringed Festival. Performances continue August 18 (7:30 pm), August 23 (7:30 pm), August 27 (8:00 pm) and September 2 (7:30 pm). Tickets are sold at www.unfringed2017.bpt.me.
