Project Y Theatre Company presents the World Premiere of GREAT AGAIN, an evening of plays in two parts: The Test by Crystal Skillman (directed by Jessi D. Hill) and In the Line by Chiori Miyagawa (directed by Kristin Horton and choreographed by Sonoko Kawahara). This double bill of new plays was commissioned by Project Y Theatre Company, written as a response to the November 2016 election and presented as the centerpiece of the 2nd Annual Women in Theatre Festival dedicated to broadening opportunities for women playwrights. GREAT AGAIN runs through June 24 at the Jeffrey and Paula Gural Theatre at the A.R.T./New York Theatres with opening set for Tuesday, June 6. BroadwayWorld has a first look at the cast onstage below!

In The Test, an English teacher in a struggling high school readies her junior students for the most important test of their lives. But when a symbol of hate appears in her classroom, she and two students on either side of the recent election find their lives forever changed.

In the Line revolves around a woman who drops something while standing in a long line of people. She looks for the lost object as the line transforms into other lines - people waiting to vote, to buy the newest Nintendo, to get into the hottest restaurant - as she struggles to keep her original place. When she finally arrives at the front of this line that has shifted time and space, what she finds is a surprise. It is a magical exploration of loss, long lines, and letting go.

GREAT AGAIN stars Taylor Shurte, Angel Moore (The Emperor Jones with Irish Rep), Eric Wiegand, Sol Crespo (Ajax in Iraq), Midori Francis (The Wolves), Sade Namei, Kristen Kittel, Ashley Jones, Vichet Chum, Mary E. Hodges , and Daniel Petzgold. The production team includes Hallie Zieselman (set); Christina Watanabe (lighting); Mark Bruckner (sound design); Becky Bodurtha (costumes); Michole Biancosino and Andrew W. Smith (producers); and Sarah Machiko Haber and Kaitlin Nemeth (stage managers).

GREAT AGAIN runs June 1- 24; performance times vary. Running time is 2 hours 20 minutes including one intermission. The Jeffrey and Paula Gural Theatre at the A.R.T./New York Theatres is located at 502 West 53rd Street, off 10th Avenue. Tickets are $35.
