Deemed "Brilliantly Written" by the Philadelphia Daily News, THE FUNERAL introduces us to the Williams family as they struggle with the death of their patriarch Jasper Norman Williams, Sr. In addition to contending with the emotions that come with planning his funeral, the family must also deal with long-held secrets, lies, and conflicts that are finally revealed upon his death. Will the Williams family be able to recover from the shock and betrayal of their beloved husband, father and community icon? Or, will they sweep what is discovered under the rug?
