On the occasion of his birthday, The Storyteller has a drink, a smoke & cleans house! Feeling older, but not wiser he begins a journey of self-exploration through the use of personal stories & original songs. In this 90 minute one-man musical, we meet a know-it-all upstairs neighbor, her two sons, a conflicted homeless man, a glib pill pushing therapist & a righteous Reverend who encourages his congregation to be Incomplete, because there's ALWAYS more to learn.
PICTURE INCOMPLETE, with book by Trent Armand Kendall & music & lyrics by Michael Polese, features a rollicking band led by Musical Director Adam Klipple, that rips through a dozen tunes ranging from rap, pop/rock, jazz house/funk to contemporary Broadway. Award winning director Greg Ganakas again directs this production that had its successful regional debut at Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center in 2008 & went on to play variety of cities. The highly acclaimed cast album of PICTURE INCOMPLETE was recorded for LML Music.
Kendall, who recently returned to New York after touring the US in Oprah Winfrey presents The Color Purple, is originally from St. Louis & is a graduate of the University of MO-Columbia & the Burt Reynolds Institute. Credits include the finest regional theatres across the country, The Wizard of Oz starring Mickey Rooney (Madison Square Garden), National tours of Finian's Rainbow, Smokey Joe's Cafe' & the Canadian premier of Joseph....Dreamcoat starring Donny Osmond. He starred in London's Five Guys Named Moe & gave a command performance in Hey, Mr. Producer! He was a stand-out in the Off-Broadway cult hit Bat Boy the musical & Nunsense A-men! On Broadway, he appeared in Chess & Hair for The Actors Fund & the revival of Stephen Sondheim's Into the Woods, starring Vanessa Williams.
Onemoe Music, LLC is the producing collaboration of Karen Poindexter & Trent Armand Kendall & is dedicated to the development of new theatrical works for theatre, concerts & cabaret.
