OFF THE KING'S ROAD, a new full-length play by Neil Koenigsberg, will be given a staged reading at The Westside Theatre (407 West 43rd Street) on Thursday, February 4th at 2pm. Director is Bob Jaffe. Larry Bryggman and David Lansbury headline the comedy/drama about a retired American businessman's week-long respite at a small hotel in London following the death of his wife. The cast also features Amy Van Nostrand, Michaela Mihut and Brad Bellamy.

This version of OFF THE KING'S ROAD was read last year in London at Trafalgar Studios in the West End. Koenigsberg also had two well-received World Premiere one acts - "On A Bench" and "Fit" as part of the Summer Shorts Festival at 59E59 Theatres in Manhattan.

The playwright, a founder of PMK Public Relations and a former talent manager, is also an independent producer who most recently produced for WNET's American Masters series "Jeff Bridges - The Dude Abides" which aired nationally on PBS on January 12, 2011.
