No.11 Productions presents Lysistrata at Van Cortlandt Park in the Bronx. This sharp, witty and timely adaptation is accessible to theatergoers of all ages. The women of Athens, led by Lysistrata, "refuse to open the gates of Greece." The men have quite a hard time as they battle the women for a little loving attention as well as funding for the war. This production is a farcical, fresh, fun and family friendly look at Aristophanes' hysterical play.
