You are cordially invited to an intimate conversation with playwright Harrison David Rivers and director Raelle Myrick-Hodges as they share excerpts and insight into the world premiere production of "Sweet." The conversation will be moderated by creative producer Geoffrey Jackson Scott.

Dr. Barbara Ann Teer's National Black Theatre presents the NBT Tastemakers' Event on Monday, September 12, 2016 at 6:30 p.m. at the National Black Theatre, 2031 Fifth Avenue, New York, NY 10035.

Sweet, opens National Black Theatre's 48th season "In Pursuit of Black Joy" and guests will be able to experience NBT's most recent lobby exhibition "The Alchemy of Black Joy". There will be a light reception with food and refreshments.

Our exclusive Tastemaker Event will bring together community leaders and influencers for an evening of thought- provoking conversation and networking where you'll get an opportunity to learn more about Sweet and all the productions this season.
