Inspired by stories in the news, THE FOURTH ESTATE by Glenda Frank visits four countries where journalists find their lives endangered simply for doing their job. In Afghanistan, a veteran photographer and rookie reporter dodge grenades and romance. In North Korea, two women condemned as spies invent curious coping devices.  In St. Louis, two opponents who were once friends argue  environmental contamination  and divorce.  In Dublin, Valerie, crime reporter, has received another death threat.  Will she face down the mobsters again or fold?

THE FOURTH ESTATE, an Actors Equity Showcase presentation,  is directed by Rebecca Hengstenberg and features Leanne Barrineau, Aleta Davies, Dennis Z. Gagomiros, Sarah Kay, Colin McFadden, Ainna Manapat, and David Sedgwick.  Lighting design is by Joyce Liao. SusAnna Miller is the Company Representative.

For tickets, contact www.FringeNYC.org, 1-866-468-7619 or in person at FringeCENTRAL.  For further information about this show, contact SusAnna Miller at 917.686.0045 or sudami@verizon.net.  Fringe tickets are $18 at the door, $15 in advance.
