NY_HEARTS: LES, featuring Jenny Maguire, is presented as part of The Brick Theater's Game Play Festival, tonight, July 6 through July 22, in multiple locations across the Lower East Side.

NY_Hearts: LES melds a love story with an iPhone app and the sights and sounds of the Lower East Side. Dive into the story of Jill, a mixed media and tattoo artist, as she speaks to Sal on the anniversary of their first date. Over the audio storytelling app Moveable Feast, Jill recalls how they met and fell in love in the Lower East Side of NYC, leading listeners, like voyeurs, to sexy moments and special spots. Relive what Jill saw, tasted and felt as she reveals the truth about Sal’s past.

“I’m thrilled to be presenting the first part of NY_Hearts in the Game Play Festival,” said creator and producer James Carter. “It is part scavenger hunt and part love story. The audience steps into the shoes of a main character, visit places they never knew existed, and get a yoga class, lunch and other surprises.”

Featuring eight different locations in the Lower East Side including six small businesses, NY_Hearts: LES integrates goods and services featured in the tale. Participating partners include Yoga High, The Fat Radish, Bosi Contemporary, Lost Weekend NYC, My Plastic Heart, and The Parkside Lounge. The ticket includes a yoga class, lunch, and other goods and services from the businesses. Conceived as a way to discover the Lower East Side in a fun, new way, creator James Carter launches the first of his four neighborhood love stories in July 2012 as part of the Brick Theater’s Game Play Festival.

Tickets are $55.00 - includes a yoga class, lunch, and other surprise goods and services. Purchase tickets at Ovationtix.com. For details about the show, visit www.NY-Hearts.com and bricktheater.com.
