Michael Ehrenreich's THE WAR Gets Staged Reading in NYC This April Image

A professional staged reading of The War, a new musical by Michael Ehrenreich, is set to take place at The Cell (New York, NY) on Wednesday, April 18, 2018. There will be two performances, at 2:00PM and at 6:30PM.

This dynamic new musical follows the destiny of a family in a land torn apart by an incomprehensible war. Can two young lovers on opposite sides of the conflict find their way?

According to Ehrenreich, "The War practically wrote itself over three months. It tells a timeless story, yet people will find in it reflections of our modern times."

Playwright and composer Michael Ehrenreich's previous works include Medicine the Musical. He is a dermatologist living in South Orange, New Jersey. The creative team includes Director Rachel Klein (Red Roses, Green Gold; More Than All The World), Musical Director Luke Williams (More than All The World; The Last Five Years), and arrangements by Andy Peterson (More than All The World; Atomic).

The reading is free for anyone to attend, but tickets should be reserved on-line prior to the performance. Ticket-holders will be seated on a first-come, first-served basis.

Tickets may be reserved at www.StartUpProductionsNYC.com
