The Heights Players Theater for Children is taking flight for two Saturday afternoons this November, as it presents an original adaptation of Peter Pan, featuring original music by the co-author of Ghostlight, Matthew Martin.

It will be a theatrical adventure for children and adults alike as the audience will be invited to close their eyes and think happy thoughts, and be asked to join Wendy, John and Michael Darling as they fly away to Neverland on an adventure with Peter Pan in this new adaptation of J.M. Barrie's beloved novel. And for those daring audience members, it will be an opportunity to become a Lost Boy, or to help save Tinkerbell, or ultimately help rescue Peter and his friends from the clutches of the famed Captain Hook! And of course, Peter Pan will fly!

To pair all this adventure with beautiful compositions by rising star Matthew Martin, with additional lyrics provided by Martin's partner in the creation of Ghostlight, Tim Realbuto, it's an afternoon of theater not to be missed.

Appearing in this production are Heights Players Theater for Children veterans: Andrea Bernardo (Peter Pan), Julie Crane (Wendy), Alyson Fuchs (Mrs. Darling), Ethan Labourdette (Slightly), Jackie Voice (Tootles), Jason Schulof (Hook), Tony Artiga (Smee), and Hilary Goldman (Tiger Lily). Completing the ensemble are Julie Reed (John), James Dirck (Michael), Allison St. Rock (Starkey), and Timothy Charles (Nana), all of whom have appeared in many main stage productions at The Heights Players.

Peter Pan is adapted and directed by Dina Grilli, who also coordinated sets and costumes for the production. Matthew Martin is serving as Musical Director. Andrea Bernardo is the assistant director and also a co-fight choreographer alongside Jason Shulof. All other choregraphy is designed by Hilary Goldman. Lighting design is by Leo C. Contrino. Aurora Dreger is the production manager.

Peter Pan will be presented on Saturday, November 15th and Saturday, November 22nd at 12 pm. Tickets are $6.00 and can be reserved by emailing theaterforchildren@heightsplayers.org. Don't miss out on this entertaining journey to Neverland!
