Canal Park Playhouse will present EXPECT THE IMPOSSIBLE, created and performed by Mark Nizer, for one weekend only! EXPECT THE IMPOSSIBLE begins performances tonight, June 15 for a limited engagement through Sunday, June 17. Performances take place at Canal Park Playhouse (508 Canal Street, between Greenwich and West Streets in Tribeca). The performance schedule is Friday at 7 PM; Saturday at 1 PM, 4 PM & 7 PM; and Sunday at 1 PM & 4 PM. The regular ticket price is $20. Outrageous comedy antics and wild juggling adventures are in store for Canal Park Playhouse! Using lasers, robots, and extreme 3D juggling, Mark Nizer transforms impossible feats into an awe-inspiring theatrical event. Mark Nizer astounds audiences with his show-stopping tricks mixed with cutting edge technology. 3D glasses will be available at the theater for audience to fully enjoy a LIVE 3D performance!

Brunch and dinner is available at the theater’s Waffle Iron Café before and after the shows. The menu includes hot-off-the-waffle-iron spinach, mushroom, smoked chicken sausage frittatas; French toast; and Traditional Belgian Waffles with pure Vermont maple syrup and butter as well as the house specialty The Playhouse Pink Waffle (a pink waffle with strawberries and whipped cream). New menu additions include a chocoholic fantasy, the Decadent Dark Chocolate Waffle, entree salads and gourmet sliders.

Since winning the International Juggling Championships, Mark Nizer has taken his one man show to thousands of venues around the world, including The Kennedy Center and Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts. His invention of new juggling tricks and juggling technologies, combined with his unique wit have set him apart from his peers. Mark has appeared on HBO’s Just for Laughs, MTV, Entertainment Tonight, Caroline’s Comedy Hour, Comic Strip Live and many other shows. Called “fantastic” by Dave Barry in the Miami Herald and “nothing less than brilliant” in Performance Magazine, Mark has performed with George Burns, Bob Hope, Ray Charles and others.
