The Long View Theater Company presents Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Paul Zindel's AND MS. REARDON DRINKS A LITTLE, directed by Jeff Woodbridge. Performances begin June 21st prior to an official press opening of June 24th at The Shell Theater (300 West 43rd Street) in Manhattan.
The three Reardon sisters, deserted by their father in childhood, dominated by their recently deceased mother in early adulthood, now in their prime and each battling their own demons -- one sister is a slight bit controlling, another drinks just a bit too much and the third has gone just a bit crazy. When one sister presses the need to institutionalize another, the simmering resentments of many years burst alive in a scandalously hilarious sibling brawl.
Directed by Jeff Woodbridge, the cast of AND MS. REARDON DRINKS A LITTLE will feature: Julia Giolzetti (NY Innovative Theatre Award nominee for PINK!), Elizabeth Belonzi (TALK TO ME LIKE THE RAIN AND LET ME LISTEN, KNOCK, KNOCK), Molly Lovell (JANE'S BIRTHDAY, BOOK OF DAYS), Isaac Platizky (CHARLOTTE'S WEB, HAPPY HOUR) and Susan Atwood (ABIGAIL OCHS, 13 FAT GIRLS & A DEAD CAT).
The design team of AND MS. REARDON DRINKS A LITTLE is: Kia Rogers (lighting design), Josh Millican (sound design), Melisa Annis (assistant director), Rebecca Perlman (stage manager), and TBA (costume designer).

The Long View Theater company believes in honestly portraying the human condition with compassion and humor. We want to inspire audiences and give voice to original points of view. We believe theater can provoke thoughtful discussion by portraying the powerful movements, harsh situations, and myriad of inter-connections that end up defining people's lives. Through this portrayal, we gain understanding of ourselves and our own stories.

REARDON DRINKS A LITTLE run June 21 through July 8 at The Shell Theater (300 West 43rd Street), with a playing schedule of Thursdays through Saturdays at 7:30pm and Sundays at 2:00pm (there will be an added performance on Wednesday, June 27 at 7:30pm).
