Mustache Ride Entertainment in association with Royal Family Productions present Homo the Musical!, written and directed by Lola Rock-N-Rolla with music & lyrics by Gina Volpe, and choreography by Aliane Baquerot, It begins performances on October 12 – November 3, 2012 at The Wild Project (195 E 3rd), tickets are $18 and available by visiting www.homothemusical.com or call 212.352.3101.

When a religious, Middle American suburb is infiltrated by an alien from the Planet Homo posing as a suburban housewife, will the good folk of Pleasant Valley Pines notice before the whole town erupts in chaos and depravity?

Alien invasions! Gay wrestling! Raucous church choirs! Cheerleader blood baths! Live rock'n'roll and horny suburban housewives all set to song and dance!

This past January, Homo the Musical! played to packed houses in The Wild Project's 90-seat theater. Even the special encore performance sold out within an hour of its announcement! Audiences loved the show so much they came back to see it a second and third time, singing out loud to Homo's anthemic songs.

Created by B-Movie filmmaker and NYC's answer to John Waters, Lola Rock-N-Rolla (Dragzilla, Night of the Living Gay, Nefertitty), and seminal punk guitarist/songwriter, Gina Volpe (Lunachicks & Bantam), this homage to Hedwig and The Rocky Horror Picture Show is set to become New York's next cult hit! Completing the creative trifecta is celebrated choreographer and Broadway dancer, Aliane Baquerot (Celebrity Circus, B'way: Movin' Out). Together, the team rolls out an outrageous assault on all five senses.

Now, with shiny new lighting design by David Roy, sound by Evan Schultz, costumes by Carolyn Dellinger, Video projections by Hugh Mackey Prop and Blood design by Maureen Bonsignore and Stage Manager Liz Nielsen at the helm, this is one event you don't want to miss! Homo the Musical's cast includes: Brandon Olson, Greg Beam, Miguel Molinar, Ryan Bauer-Walsh, Erica Penn, Helene Ellford, David Paul Kidder, Tim Murray, Cesar Razza, Matt Dasilva, Julia DiVergilio, and Meg Baessler!

At last- crowds of all races, religions, and political affiliations, laughing together at the ridiculousness of homophobia, gentrification, and Gay Guns turning people into Homos!

HOMO THE MUSICAL will play October 12-13, 18-20, 25-27, 31 (special Halloween performance) and November 1-3 at 8pm. October 20, 27, and November 3rd at 10pm. The Wild Project is located at 195 E 3rd, NYC.  Tickets are $18. Available at www.homothemusical.com or call 212.352.3101.
