Originally scheduled to close November 20, T. Schreiber Studio & Theatre's production of Kenneth Lonergan's Lobby Hero will extend for four additional performances November 30th through December 3rd at the company's Gloria Maddox Theatre (151 West 26th Street, 7th Floor).

Drama, comedy and romance collide in the lobby of a Manhattan high-rise apartment building when hapless security guard Jeff gets caught in a power struggle between his boss and two police officers investigating a murder. Lonergan, the award-winning author of This Is Our Youth, Analyze This, and You Can Count on Me, is at his piercing best in Lobby Hero, a play about ordinary people caught in extraordinary circumstances.

Directed by Peter Jensen, the production stars Nasay Ano, Michael Black, Olivia Rorick and Joshua Sienkiewicz.  The production team includes Barbara Kielhofer (Producing Director), Matt Brogan (scenic design), Anne Wingate (costume design), Lois Catanzaro (lighting design), Andy Cohen (sound design), Anthony Long (technical director), Page Clements (dialect coach), Marie Fahlgren (assistant costume design), Mike Daze (assistant technical director), Kerry Miller (assistant director/props mistress) and Victoria Loye (stage manager).

The extension of Lobby Hero runs November 30th through December 3rd, Wednesday through Friday at 8:00 pm and Saturday at 2:00 pm.  Tickets are $20 and may be purchased at www.tschreiber.org or by calling (212) 352-3101.

T. Schreiber Studio and Theatre (TSST) has been a creative community for actors since 1969.  TSST is acknowledged as one of the foremost professional theatre studios in New York City. For four decades, TSST has been the training ground for more than 300 actors each year, many of whom have gone on to successful careers in theatre, film, and television. TSST was awarded the 2011 Outstanding Production New York Innovative Theatre Award for its revival of Lanford Wilson's Balm in Gilead and has been named Favorite Off-Off Broadway Theatre by the Back Stage Readers' Poll for the past two seasons.  The studio's high quality productions continue to reinforce a reputation for excellence among audiences and the theatrical community.  Martin Denton of NYTheatre.com raves that TSST "has become one of indie theater's treasures, featuring first-class productions of classic and new plays with incomparable (and award-winning) production values."  For more information, visit www.tschreiber.org.
