Kyle Ewalt and Michael I. Walker's new musical Bromance: The Dudesical will be performed in concert at Caroline's on Broadway on Wednesday, December 1 at 7pm. The five-person cast will include Adam Chanler-Berat (Next to Normal), Andrew Durand (Spring Awakening, Burnt Part Boys), Andrew Kober (Hair), Eric William Morris (Mamma Mia!) and Molly Pope (The Molly Pope Show at Joe's Pub).
Bromance: The Dudesical follows the comic misadventures of a group of friends who decide to take a new "bro" under their wing one fateful St. Patrick's Day, and features songs such as "Sports Center," "Chili Cheese Fries" and "The Phone Call." Bromance was last performed in July at 92YTribeca. This concert version will be directed by John Simpkins with music direction by Dave Lerman and is being presented by Caroline's on Broadway in partnership with jokr productions (Joey Oliva & Katie Riegel).
Kyle Ewalt and Michael I. Walker are a NYC based musical theater writing team whose shows include Separate: Battle Songs of Youth, The Making of Madeline Moore, Broke, and Bromance: The Dudesical. Recent events include "Ewalt and Walker Live at 92YTribeca" and "An Evening with Ewalt and Walker: Just a Couple of Dudes Who Like to Write Songs" at Playwrights Horizons Mainstage Theater.
