Killer Stage's production of The Wedding Plan is now donating 10 percent of its proceeds to Freedom to Marry between now and the rest of its performances through June 10th. The play is written by Brian Macinnis Smallwood and directed by Tom Lock.
When Daniel travels to meet his online girlfriend for her sister's wedding day, he drags his best friend Nick along. As Daniel attempts to profess his love for Clara, Nick falls in love with her twin, Zoe, and a chaotic turn of mistaken identity and amorous rivalry ensues. Set against the backdrop of a wedding that must overcome unbelievable and bizarre obstacles, including entertainment booked for the wrong kind of "gig," a missing groom, and an overbearing mother, our young hero's search for love also leads us to wonder how many people can actually even survive this fateful day. Performed by three separate casts.
The show plays at Cap21, 18 West 18th Street, New York City. Tickets are $20.00 and $15.00 for students.
