Kiley Ensemble proudly announces its newest production, a revival of Jane Anderson's 'The Baby Dance.' It's the story of two couples: a well-off California husband & wife who have everything except a baby, and the struggling Louisiana parents who've agreed to give them for adoption their soon-to-be-born fifth child.
Occasionally funny but never easy, the play explores class, motherhood, prejudice, loss, and the ways our individual expectations bring us together and tear us apart.
'The Baby Dance' is the perfect play for Kiley Ensemble to share with New York Theater-goers. The New York City-based group brings to life both new and existing contemporary dramatic pieces selected for their cultural and social relevance; the material in 'The Baby Dance' is more relevant today than ever.
Please join us for a limited run at Players Theatre in New York's West Village, on 115 MacDougal Street. Opening night, January 15, was a great success, and we look forward to eight further performances, closing January 28.
