Join the 92YTribeca Jewish Life community for a special celebration of Shavuot, the holiday that commemorates the giving of the Ten Commandments at Mount Sinai. First, EXPLORE: 92YTribeca's Rabbinic intern Hayley Siegel and The New Shul's Rabbi Dan Ain will lead a text-based exploration of Moses and Aaron's distinct personalities and leadership styles during this dynamic and fascinating story in the Torah. Knowledge of Hebrew is not required for this session. Then, IMPROV! Justin Krebs, improv teacher extraordinaire and founder of The Tank, will draw upon the participation and talents of the audience for our creative Bibliodrama of Shavuot's events. And finally, TASTE! Get a delicious dairy reprieve in the form of cheesecake and specialty drink tasting. 92YTribeca Chef Russell Moss will pair four different kinds of cheesecakes with four different specialty drinks.

Justin Krebs is the co-founder and Executive Director of Living Liberally, which builds social communities around progressive politics across the country. He is also a founder and Artistic Director of The Tank, a non-profit venue for performance and public affairs in New York City. In his experience as a political organizer, advocate and entrepreneur, he has been a Working Assets Activist Fellow, the manager of a parks advocacy campaign, the author of a history of New York's playgrounds, and a constituent liaison for U.S. Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton.
