Irish Repertory Theatre (Charlotte Moore, Artistic Director and Ciarán O'Reilly, Producing Director) announced today two upcoming special events for the Francis J. Greenburger Mainstage at Irish Rep Theatre (132 West 22nd Street).
On Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at 7:00pm, Irish Repertory Theatre and Irish Screen America will present a screening of the Academy Award-winning short film STUTTERER. Written and directed by Benjamin Cleary (Love Is A Sting), STUTTERER is the tale of a man whose lush inner thoughts are rendered mute by a crippling stutter despite a flourishing online relationship. Communication, like love, is never easy. Following the screening, Niall McKay of Irish Screen America will moderate a special talkback with Cleary & producer-director TJ O'Grady-Peyton (The Fall of the House of Lawrence), with a focus on the process of creating great short films.
Tickets to STUTTERER are priced at $10.00, are general admission, and are on sale now through Irish Rep's box office by calling 212-727-2737, or online at www.irishrep.org.
On Monday, May 15, 2017, at 7:30pm Irish Rep will present a concert performance Greg Harrington & Friends. A Dublin violinist with "natural artistry and an ability to dazzle," Greg Harrington takes the Irish Rep stage with two talented cellists, Eleanor Norton and Jay Tilton, for an evening of hits ranging from Vivaldi's "4 Seasons" to Hendrix's "Purple Haze" to traditional favorites like "The Parting Glass."
Tickets to Greg Harrington and Friends are priced at $20.00, are general admission, and are on sale now through Irish Rep's box office by calling 212-727-2737, or online at www.irishrep.org.
