The Improvised Shakespeare Company will return to New York City for five shows in three nights, tonight, November 10-12th, 2013.

SCHEDULE:

Sunday, November 10th at 7:00PM and 9:30PM

Monday, November 11th at 7:00PM (One show)

Tuesday, November 12th at 7:00 & 9:30PM

THE IMPROVISED SHAKESPEARE COMPANY, created and directed by Blaine Swen, stars Joey Bland, Brendan Dowling, Greg Hess, Blaine Swen, and Steve Waltien. Based on one audience suggestion (a title for a play that has yet to be written) The Improvised Shakespeare Company creates a fully improvised play in Elizabethan style. Nothing is planned-out, rehearsed, or written. Each play is completely improvised, so each play is entirely new!

The Improvised Shakespeare Company has been performing its critically-acclaimed show every Fridaynight at the world famous iO Theater for over five years and continues to entertain audiences around the globe with its touring company. The ISC has been featured at the Piccolo Spoleto Fringe Festival, Bonnaroo, Bumbershoot Music and Arts Festival, and the prestigious Just For Laughs festival in Montreal. It has been named Chicago's best improv group by both the Chicago Reader and the Chicago Examiner and has received a New York Nightlife Award for "Best Comedic Performance by a Group". The ISC has also been honored by the Chicago Improv Foundation as its "Ensemble of the Year".
