Voyage Theater Company and B2Y Entertainment present the World Premiere of the play-within-a-play comedy INTERMISSION by Daniel Libman. Directed by Wayne Maugans, previews begin May 2 at The Clurman Theatre at Theatre Row. Opening is slated for Thursday, May 8. INTERMISSION is performed without an intermission.
When a married couple attends the opening night of a new play by an anonymous playwright, they find themselves swept up in a series of events that will change their lives forever. INTERMISSION is an intricately constructed comedy about love, sex, and identity where the performance onstage bleeds into the world offstage.
INTERMISSION stars Michael Brusasco, Jessica Griffin, Carol Todd, and Margot White with a production team that includes designers Paul Bartlett (lighting), Bruce Ellman (sound), Peri Grabin (costumes), and Jay Ryan (sets); Production Stage Manager Jim Pelegano; Assistant Stage Manager Sara Troficanto; and Producer Charles C. Bales.
Playwright, actor, and director Daniel Libman was born and raised in Montreal, and has been based in Calgary since 1982.
