Harbor Lights Theater Welcomes New Board Members Jay Quinones and Theresa Sarrica

The Harbor Lights Theater Company has announced the election of two new board members: Jay Quinones and Theresa Sarrica. These two new board members join current HLTC board members Jules Nasso, Michelle DeSantis, and Bonnie Pitera.

Jay Quinones resides in Princes Bay with his wife and three daughters. Jay is a graduate of Tottenville High School and is the owner of Jay-Quin Contracting Inc. Jay has been specializing in commercial and residential real estate alterations and development for more than two decades in the New York City area.

"I have never wavered in my commitment to supporting my local community and my company has been involved in many charitable causes and civic organizations over the years. I look forward to supporting Harbor Lights and their vision of bringing the finest quality productions to Staten Island and beyond. It is my pleasure and honor to serve on the board, " said Jay Quinones.

Theresa Sarrica, a resident of Annadale resident since 2001, brings two decades of experience in fundraising and marketing for the not-for-profit sector to the Harbor Lights Theater Company. She recently served as Director of Communications for New York City Department of Finance. She will help guide HLTC growth and influence in Staten Island with a focus on developing long range communications, marketing and fundraising goals. She understands the limitless possibilities that an Actor's Equity Theatre company can bring to the families of Staten Island. Sarrica will bring her strong operational and organizational experience to HLTC.

"HLTC has been providing exceptional productions to the residents of Staten Island for three years and is quickly reaching an important stage in their mission to bring Broadway to the doorsteps of Staten Islanders. There is a large segment of the population that are theatre goers with over 16,000 Staten Islanders go to the city to see plays every year. Now, these theatre lovers and their families are becoming aware of the talent and award winning plays available in their own backyards. HLTC will continue to grow and provide top-notch, and award-winning theatre experiences as well as educational opportunities for children and their families," said Sarrica.

I LOVE YOU, YOU'RE PERFECT, NOW CHANGE by Joe DiPietro and Jimmy Roberts, May 3-19 at Veterans Memorial Hall.

OLIVER! by Lionel Bart, July 12-28 at The Music Hall.

Jacques Brel IS ALIVE AND WELL, by Eric Blau and Mort Shuman, music and original lyrics by Jacques Brel, October 4-20 at Veterans Memorial Hall.

IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE: A LIVE RADIO PLAY by Joe Landry, December 6-22 at Veterans Memorial Hall.

Tickets on sale now: Season Tickets are $125 dollars for adults and $115 dollars for seniors and students.
