The Harbor Lights Theater Company is pleased to announce its much anticipated production of Lionel Bart's classic - Oliver! - the tale of the orphan who dared ask for more, based on the beloved novel by Charles Dickens.

Harbor Lights re-imagines this classic story in a rollicking, heartwarming new production directed by Broadway's Ray Roderick (Nutty Professor, The Music Man, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang), who helmed Harbor Lights' landmark 2011 production of The Music Man. Broadway veteran and Staten Island resident Mimi Quillin (Ragtime, Sweet Charity, Ain't Broadway Grand) returns to Harbor Lights as choreographer, having previously choreographed The Music Man and Amahl and the Night Visitors. Michael Larsen (Menopause the Musical) will conduct.

Nick Corley adds the role of "Fagin" to his Dickensian resume, after having appeared in the 2013 Broadway revival of The Mystery Of Edwin Drood, and as "Bob Cratchit" in the long running A Christmas Carol at Madison Square Garden. Corley's other Broadway credits include the original company of Mary Poppins, ("Park Keeper") and She Loves Me. Laura D'Andre (Grease, Hair) is Oliver's feisty savior "Nancy."

Andre Gulick, a member of the Metropolitan Opera chorus since 2011 (Carmen, Billy Budd, L'Elisir d'Amore, Parsifal), portrays "Oliver." Andre is a student at the Professional Performing Arts School, and will make his Met debut as a soloist next year. Jeremiah Burch, whose film and television credits include Fool's Day (Tribeca Film Festival) and Redrum (Investigation Discovery), plays the "Artful Dodger." Jeremiah is the official 2013 spokesman for the Staten Island Yankees.

Michael Bottari and Ron Case, award-winning Broadway Costume Designers, scenic designer James Dardenne (Paper Mill, Drury Lane, Paramount, Denver Center Theater),and lighting designer Kia Rogers (HLTC's Lombardi) make up the design team.

Along with Dickens' iconic story, and Lionel Bart's legendary score -- filled with hits such as "Consider Yourself," "As Long as He Needs Me," "I'd Do Anything," and "You've Got to Pick a Pocket or Two" -- Harbor Lights' Oliver! features a cast of forty-four, including many local children.
