John Amos returns to the stage for the world premiere of FELONY FRIDAY by Scott Decker as part of the 2011 New York International Fringe Festival.

In FELONY FRIDAY, a notorious crime boss is locked up in general holding with some of the city's worst criminals. When he finally receives a visitor, it turns out t be the man he murdered 48 hours
earlier. Justice may be blind, but the devil sees all.

FELONY FRIDAY is the second installment of Scott Decker's Family Comes First Trilogy. The first installment, Prey, debuted at FringeNYC 2010 to rave reviews.

From his timeless role as James Evans on Good Times, to his Emmy nominated tour-de-force in Roots, to his well-remembered turn in Coming to America with Eddie Murphy, John Amos has carved out an incredible career in acting covering four decades. He has been to Broadway, been nominated for an Emmy, and secured his place in infamy with iconic film roles over the years.

In addition to Amos, Felony Friday stars Libby Winters (American Idiot on Broadway), Marc Goldberg (host of TLC's In A Fix), Scott Decker (Off-Broadway's Lobby Hero, Boys in the Band), Jas Andersen (CBS's upcoming The 2-2 with Patrick Wilson), Joe Wissler, Mateo Prendergast, Marc Sinoway, Chris Dickerson, and Claudia Godi. The production is directed by Rebecca Yarsin, also returning to Fringe since sitting at the helm of Prey last year.
