Step Into My Office is a new dark comedy series from award-winning creator Misha Calvert exploring sexism and harassment in the workplace.

Detailing and reversing the real experiences of female employees, each episode sees sexist female bosses exploit male job candidates.

All five episodes screen Wednesday, August 28th at 8:00pm at the Nitehawk Cinema Lo-Res bar in Williamsburg,

The pilot episode premieres on Vimeo Thursday, August 29th, with subsequent episodes screening every Thursday for five weeks.

Step Into My Office is Calvert's third digital series, with her fourth series, All Hail Beth, premiering on BRIC TV in October 2019.

Step Into My Office features Lisann Valentin (Narcos), Robin Rose Singer, and Cronin Cullen, among other New York talent. The series premiered at iTV festival in 2018 and has since screened at film and TV festivals around the world. Writer and Executive Producer, Misha Calvert, created Step Into My Office in response to the experiences of real women across multiple industries.

Calvert takes these real experiences of sexism in job interviews and the workplace and flips the audience's preconceived notions by reversing the genders of the characters. "One of the best ways I've found to heal from trauma is through humor," said Calvert, "and the gender swap helps with that." In the world of this series, the men are the victims of bullying and assault at the hands of their female employers and often have little recourse to battle against their antagonists. More information on the series is available here: www.stepintomyoffice.show.

When asked about being a female creator in the entertainment industry, Calvert said, "I don't think about the fact that I'm female. I only measure myself against what I might accomplish on any given day, with no comparisons to my future self or other filmmakers, either male or female." Calvert's work focuses on character-driven comedy that champions the female perspective.

Calvert is an award-winning show creator with projects spanning film, TV, and digital. She was nominated at Soho International Film Festival in 2019 for Best Short Form Series and Best TV Pilot for her series's All Hail Beth and Strut respectively. Calvert was an official filmmaker in the 2018 Tribeca Film Festival Digital Creators Market, and is a three-time finalist for the Sundance/YouTube New Voices Lab for her digital series's Lusty Glances, Solitaire, and The Industry. She is currently in development for several new projects in 2019/2020.
