Galli Theater is enchanting young audiences with the beloved fairytale Cinderella. The play, for kids from 3 and up, starts at 3 p.m. in Galli's midtown theater at 38 W 38th Street, between 5th and 6th Avenue, Manhattan. Dates: July 3, 10, 11, 17, 18, 24, and 25, at 3pm.

Galli's Cinderella is an uplifting remake of the original Grimm story about a pure-hearted girl who loses her mother but finds her prince. This fairy tale tells the story of how inner strength, hope and kindness win over outer beauty. Galli's Cinderella encourages children to express their feelings and overcome their fears. Everyone feels part of the story as the company interacts with its audience in its intimate, cozy 70-seat theater. The company engages its audience in song, dance, and comedy.

Chantal Thuy plays Cinderella in the story adapted by Johannes Galli. The cast also includes Shubra Prakash, Julian Ryan Deleon, Cassidy and Hannah Rubin, Vanessa Schroeter, and Dedunu Suraweera. Directed by Viviane Hanna and Tatjana Maya. Original music by Johannes Galli. Following each performance the children in the audience get the chance to dress up and perform a mini play for their parents.

The Galli Theater is a registered 501©3 nonprofit organization and has been performing children's theater for almost 25 years, with fifteen companies in nine countries throughout the world. Playwright, clown, and director Johannes Galli believes that fairy tales are healing for children. Members of the Galli Group perform for children in hospitals, orphanages and disaster areas.
