Gallery New World Stages, located at 343 West 49th Street, today announced the upcoming performance of Blessing Offor and the New York based female band Siren, featuring Colleen Harris, Lindsay Morgan, and Shanna Sharp. The performance is on July 12 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.

Mr. Offor, a 2010 VSA International Young Soloists Award recipient, has performed as the opening act for such legends as The Temptations, Average White Band, Tower of Power, and New Orleans blues legend Dr. John. He contributed "Winter Wonderland" to a compilation Christmas record with artists such as Aaron Nevel, Amy Grant, and The Beach Boys. He has had the honor of performing multiple engagements at the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC.

In 2011, Mr. Offer was a contestant on Bravo's Platinum Hit. Currently, Mr. Offor is working on a new album with Sojourn Records and plans to release singles later this year. He lives in New York City.

"Siren sets your favorite pop hits to a country beat!" The female trio of Harris, Morgan, and Sharp perform a free weekly show at the Time Out New York Lounge at New World Stages. In June of 2013, the band recently performed at 54 Below in Midtown Manhattan. July 8th takes Harris, Morgan and Sharp out to Brandon Cutrell's, Broadway At The Beach: The 8th Annual Fire Island's Musical Theatre Party featuring Broadway's Best!

Friday's performance is free and open to the public, and is part of the Summer Art Reception at the Gallery.
